EXHORTATION – JOB 1 – SPEAKING NOTES约伯记第一章讲义

- book of Job is one of the less understood books of the Old Testament. 约伯记是旧约里很难懂的一本书之一

- controversy about who Satan is, Yahweh, how much is true, Elihu 关于谁是撒旦，谁是耶和华，有多少真理的论辩，以利户
- Gloss over the problem: happy ending, minimise the intervening trials, forget that the person living the trial doesn’t know how things will end. 解决问题：幸福的结局，轻看患难，忘记了经历患难的人不知道事情的结局会是怎样
- AND 1v6-12 causes the affliction of Job. Job never knew – till KoG.

- There is no doubt that Job was one of the greatest men who has ever lived. 毫无疑问约伯是最伟大的人之一
- 1v1: perfect = complete in moral sense, not sinless, but true, sound, blameless
- 1v1:完全=道德上是完全的，没有犯罪，而是忠实的、立场坚定、无可指责
- upright= straight, unwavering, consistent. feared God= unqualified reverence. eschewed evil = to flee from evil. He hated iniquity.
- 正直=真诚、不动摇和坚定
- 敬畏神=完全尊敬
- 远离恶事=憎恨邪恶。
- 1v8 “my servant Job” - actually called a servant of God. In ch 42, God to Eliphaz: “you shouldn’t have said that about my servant Job”; “you haven’t spoken what was right like my servant Job has”; “you go and offer a sacrifice. My servant Job will pray for you and I will accept his prayer”.

- 1v4 all his sons had own houses, affluent, entertained, integrity, model family

- 1v5 Job a priest, washings and changes of garments.

- curse God = to abandon, take leave of, as a deliberate sin. Risk of prosperity 诅咒神=放弃神，离开神，这是一种故意的犯罪。财富的障碍
- not just restricted to his own family. 不仅仅局限于自己的家庭
- 29v7-8 young men – those more likely to be brash and impulsive stepped aside
- aged men – those who people stood up for, stood up for Job.

- 29v9-10 princes and nobles - those known for patronising conversation, silent.

- Why? Because rich? No. v12 delivered the poor and the fatherless, v13 cared for widows and those dying, v15 care for the lame and the blind, v16 father to poor.

- Anyone in trouble - compassion, fair hearing, material assistance. 29v24 任何一个遇到困难的人—同情，公平的陈述，还有物质帮助
- They loved him - all except one person. And here’s the problem of chapter 1.人们爱他—只有一个人例外，这也是在第一章中出现的问题
- 1v6 sons of God = ecclesia. Gen 6v2, 1 John 3v1. 神的众子=教会。创世记6：2，约翰一书3：1
- Satan = person, ex Christadelphian, cynical, disagreed with God’s assessment 1v8
- 撒旦=人，比如一个完全对真理冷嘲热讽或对真正信仰者冷嘲热讽的人1v8
- Yahweh = angel, inspired, able to read Job’s heart, perform miracles. 耶和华=天使，受到了神的启示，能够阅读约伯的内心，行神迹
- 2v3b Yahweh says He was moved to bring the trials on Job, angel not man.耶和华说他被激动带给很多考验约伯。是天使，而不是人
- 1v7 Satan a traveller - trader. Job a trader v3, 3,000 camels 撒旦是一个商人。约伯也是一个商人。第三节：3000头骆驼
- someone who envied Job because of his success. He wanted to be rich too有人因为约伯的财富而嫉妒他。他也想要富足
- had a problem with God because God had blessed Job but He hadn’t blessed him他和神之间的关系有一些问题，因为神赐福给约伯，但是没有赐福给他
- Job only in the Truth for the material benefits. Stop the money, leave the Truth约伯在真理中是因为能够得到物质利益。如果你不给约伯钱，他就会离开真理
- 1v8 you = man of experience, back and forth in the earth. Ever met anyone like Job – in all the earth?
- 1v8 你=有经历的人，在地上走来走去。在地上遇到过一个像约伯一样的人没有
- 1v9 Do you think Job serves you for free? 1v10-11 约伯敬畏神岂是无故呢？
- ever said that about a BroSis? Alright for them – they’re rich. They don’t really have trials”. Or “It’s alright for them. They don’t have children like ours”. Envy? 我们曾经也这样议论过其他的弟兄姐妹吗？“他们这样做没关系，因为他们有钱。他们在生活上没有遇到挑战” 。或者是“这对他们不存在问题，因为他们不是像我们那样的有孩子”。是出于忌妒吗？
- real question = if Satan had blessings of Job, would he care for poor fatherless?真正的问题=如果撒旦得到了像约伯一样的赐福，他会关心穷乏人的父吗？
- 1v11 touch all that he hath = deliberate understatement - hit him hard, punish him
- 1v11你且伸手毁他一切所有的=故意的掩饰。撒但真实的意思是：严酷地惩罚约伯、折磨约伯
- 1v12 Take whatever you want, don’t hurt him physically. From v13 trials begin.
- 1v12凡他所有的都在你手中；只是不可伸手加害於他”。从13节开始，约伯面临的考验开始了。

- 1v13-15 Sabeans = Sheba, south. 1000 oxen and asses, servants brethren?
- 1v13-15 示巴人=南方的示巴人，1000头牛和驴，仆人—弟兄？
- 1v16 lightning, runs along the ground and electrocutes, 7000 sheep, servants
- 1v16神从天上降下火来”，从天上降下的雷电的袭击， 7000头羊和很多仆人
- 1v17 Chaldeans = north, 3000 camels, servants北边迦勒底人，3000头骆驼，很多仆人
- Every time only one survivor, next one runs in while the last one’s still speaking每一次灾难中只有一个幸存者，幸存者在向约伯报告时又接着发生了下一次灾难
- 1v18-19 death of all his children. Not till this last trial till Job responded. 约伯所有的孩子都死亡了。约伯最终有了反应
- He could lose everything. But when he lost his children, he stood up v20约伯损失了全部的财物，当他所有的儿女都死亡了以后，约伯便起来 第20节
- rent mantle = expression of grief and heartbroken astonishment. 撕裂外袍=表达自己的悲伤和哀痛
- shaved head = a symbol of mourning, fell on ground = surrender to God. 剃了头=表达自己的哀痛。伏在地上下拜=顺服神
- There was no question this had come from God, too much coincidence毫无疑问这灾难来自神，因为有太多的巧合
- even if the Sabeans and Chaldeans man made, other two disasters clearly Divine即使是示巴人和迦勒底人要承担自己的罪责，但这两种灾难很明显是神带来的
- 1v21 similar words 1Tim 6v7 - we bought nothing into this world, and it is certain that we can carry nothing out. Job has lost everything. With the death of his sons, his name will be put out forever.
- 1v21 和提摩太前书6：7相似的话语—因为我们没有带什麽到世上来，也不能带什麽去。随着他儿女的死亡，他的名再没有人继承
- 1v22 Satan was wrong. Prediction in v11, didn’t happen. Job cursed no one
- 1v22 撒旦错了。第11节的预言没有发生，约伯没有诅咒任何人
- the question is: What’s Satan going to say to this? 问题是：撒旦要说什么？
- 2v1-5 after all that, he’s not satisfied. You haven’t proved anything. 这一切灾难发生之后，他还不满足。他说这些事情证明不了什么
- Job doesn’t care for anyone. He’s so hard he doesn’t even care for his own family约伯对什么都不关心。他非常狠心，甚至不关心自己的家庭
- What was Job supposed to do? Bless God = that’s how hard he is, hypocrite约伯会做什么？祝福神=他有多狠心，假冒伪善
- Curse God, Satan says, see, I told you - he’s a hypocrite.诅咒神，撒旦说，看我告诉过你-他是假冒伪善的人
- What should God do to Satan for that? Destroyed him? We do this ourselves! 神应该怎样对待撒但？毁灭他吗？我们自己这样做！
- Yahweh is patient with him like with us. Wants to convert him, 耶和华对撒但抱有耐心，就像他对我们有耐心一样。耶和华希望这个人能够悔改
- 2v6-8 if losing his possessions and family was tough, losing health devastating. 一个人失去财产和家庭是一项沉重的打击，失去了健康同样是毁灭性的
- Job = many tearful hours in prayer after ch1. What happened to relationship with God. Time’s gone by, Satan’s gone to and fro, Job’s begun to rebuild his life. 约伯=第一章以后花了很长的时间来祷告。他不明白他与神之间的关系，随着时间的流逝，撒但依然在地上来来往往地奔走，约伯也要重新建立自己的生活。
- Now, answer to prayer, disease so severe, it seems obvious he’ll die. 如今，正如他在祷告中陈述的，他的病情时那样的严重，似乎就要死亡
- three friends come 2v12. Stand at a distance, can’t recognise, sit down v13 mourning the dead三个朋友到了2v12。撒旦在远处，他们不能辨认出他来，就同他七天七夜坐在地上v13
- 2v9 what’s the point Job? bless God might prolong your life, but look at it. 约伯这样有什么意思？他一直在赞美神，想让自己长寿，但是看看他现在的样子。
- curse Him, bring down the final stroke, end it all. alarming,诅咒神，结束自己的生命算了
- but don’t forget she has lost her possessions, children, husband. Desperate不要忘记她已经失去了财产，孩子
- Yahweh never holds her accountable even though this = Satan’s suggestion耶和华从来没有抓住她的话不放，即使她的建议正是撒但所希望的
- Satan says Job will curse God. His wife suggests he should. 撒但说约伯将会弃绝神。她的妻子也建议他这样
- Job whole life offering sacrifices 1v5 for children in case cursed God. 而约伯一生中都坚持献祭给神 ，1v5避免自己的孩子弃绝神
- Job’s not immune to suffering –rather be dead. 3v1 cursed the day he was born. 并不能使约伯免除痛苦—他宁愿死3v1 诅咒他出生的那日
- 2v10 Doesn’t call her a fool. Out of character for her. Satan wrong again. 没有称她是“愚顽的妇人”。这不是他妻子的特性。撒但又错了
- Job = shall we receive good at the hand of God and not evil? 约伯=难道我们从神手里得福，不也受祸吗？
- Christ = not my will, but thine be done. 基督=不要照我的意思，只要照你的意思
- Job = type of Christ, wife = type of the bride of Christ, fails him, couldn’t match him in trial, couldn’t drink of the cup, couldn’t watch with him more than 1 hour, when he was taken, wanted to forsake him and flee. 约伯=基督的预表，妻子=基督新娘的预表，她辜负了他，在受到考验的时候她配不上他，他喝的那一杯苦酒，她没有跟着喝，当他被带走的时候，她想离开他逃跑
- Satan = human nature, Cynical, self seeking, materialistic, ungoverned by Truth. 撒旦=的天性的代表。冷嘲热讽、寻求自己、注重物质利益，不愿意受真理的约束。
- This raises one of the great age-old questions. What value of righteousness? 一个与真理有关的古老话题。公义的价值是什么？
- Any value in righteousness of itself apart from what benefits it might give us公义除了其本身的价值以外，还能在现在带给我们什么？
- If living the Truth meant privation, would we still do it? Job = yes. Satan = no. 如果在真理中的生活意味着贫困的生活，我们依然还要坚持吗？约伯=是的 撒但=不是
- Satan = Job’s righteousness was simply a refined form of selfishness 撒旦=约伯敬畏神是因为某种自私的原因
- Job = righteousness is manifestation of God’s character, does because loves God.约伯=公义就是表现出神的品德，约伯这样做，是因为他爱神
- But if Satan is a brother, how does God convince him and people like him? 但是，如果撒但是一位弟兄的话，神怎样来说服他？
- Only 1 way. Take righteous man, trials that strip him of all but his righteousness. 只有一种方法。用一个义人，将这个义人安置在各种考验中，并且在每一件事情上都敲打他，但是这个人依然保持自己的正直。
- the just would have to suffer for the unjust. That’s why here this morning. 义的代替不义的，这也是我们今天上午来到这里的原因。
- There is an even greater than Job, who the prophet Isaiah, in chapter 53 calls有一位人比约伯更伟大，以赛亚53章中称呼他为“我的仆人”
- my servant – not just my servant, but my RIGHTEOUS servant我的仆人—不仅仅是仆人，而是“我的义仆”
- visage was marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men外表是一个普通人，但样式超越了人子
- no beauty that we should desire him他无佳形美容
- despised and rejected of men, a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief被藐视，被人厌弃；多受痛苦，常经忧患
- We did esteem him stricken, smitten of God and afflicted他被藐视，好像被人掩面不看的一样；我们也不尊重他
- But he was wounded for our transgressions, and bruised for our iniquities他为我们的过犯受害，为我们的罪孽压伤
- He did no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth. And by his knowledge shall God’s righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear our iniquities.他没有暴力，口里也不犯罪。耶和华是我们众人的罪孽都归在他身上
- we come to remember he who died, just for the unjust, to lead us unto salvation. 我们现在来这里是纪念耶稣基督，他曾一次为罪受死，就是义的代替不义的，为要引我们到神面前
